Example Dialog:

ALL THE NAIGHT,是做时间状语，当然不用介词，可是，例句中是"THE ENTIRE MATCH",这应是个宾语，而前面的"ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT "是个副词性短语，那么宾语前面是否应有个介词呢？
For exmple,"we are looking forward for your joing us."

当然，如果习惯用法就像例句那样的，我们就只记住这个短语就是这样用的就好了。[奸笑][奸笑]

the entire match也可以做时间状语
就口语来说，语法更加宽松
