Eventually the waves capitulated and we were able to set off, although the waves in the middle of the bay were supposedly around 2 metres high.

Some people have said it was like being on a roller coaster, but to be honest I didn't really notice as I was too excited at the sight of all the flying fish outside the windows. They were only small, but there were just so many of them! I've never seen flying fish before, so it was a great sight to behold.

I was also keeping Catter interested in them so she wouldn't worry too much about the waves, and wouldn't feel scared. I think it worked most of the time, although she wasn't too happy once or twice when other people started screaming when the boat was being thrown around!
