Job Title: Engineering Analyst(fmea)
The job：
You will maintain thermo-mechanical and structural models of products to provide key design information such as stresses, strains, deflections, casing temperatures, product energy consumption and cycle time.

You must be capable of detailed analysis of complex physical problems and enjoy delivering practical solutions to engineering challenges and seeing their ideas realised. Good communications and programme management skills will also be an advantage.

Ideally the candidate will have previous experience of thermal modelling of heater assembly components and involvement with matching of models to test data.
Qualifications：

Essential:
Have a thorough knowledge of structural mechanics, thermodynamics and heat transfer (convection, conduction, radiation).
Have a previous thermal performance/design experience.
Experience of test campaigns.
Ability to use CAD/CAE tools, specifically SolidEdge and UG.
Be familiar with the use of computer simulation software, preferably the ANSYS suite of products.
MS Excel to include macros, VBA coding.
Presentation and communications skills, document and specification writing, team working.
Well organised, pro-active.
Have good written and verbal communications skills.
A good working knowledge of Windows and MS Office suite.
To be able to multi-task and plan effectively when working with a variety of project teams in an often high-pressure, competitive environment.

Desirable:
Be a hands-on designer capable of developing bespoke solutions to product’s requirements.
Rounded mechanical background including structural and fluid dynamics engineering.

Experience with advanced simulations relating to the modeling of complex dynamic problems, looking at modal frequencies and harmonics.

Good insight into polymer and composite material data and how to encompass this efficiently into the analysis software.

• Have a previous fluid performance/design experience.
• Experience of test campaigns.

JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Test EngineerDEPARTMENT: RDD - Electronics

Job Purpose:
To support a very rapidly expanding product portfolio, Dyson is setting up a new development office in Foshan. You will be joining a team of around 45 Hardware and Software engineers to develop electronic sub-systems, and to bring them into high volume production. The projects are varied from simple motor control boards to complete product control systems. In this role you will be supporting design engineers in there daily work of evaluating and debugging electronics or building test rigs for evaluation of larger samples.

Principal Accountabilities:
• PCB assembly, test and fault-finding.
• Electrical / electronic Test rig design and build.
• Advise on safe electrical practise to non-electrically knowledgeable engineers.

Skills Knowledge & Experience:
• At least 2 years experience of debugging electronics or building test rigs.
• Qualified with a minimum of a technical collage education
• Good English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to understand electronic / electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Good working knowledge of test equipment (multi-meter, oscilloscopes, current clamps).
• Knowledge of mains safety methods, double insulating, grounding.
• Logical approach to Fault find and diagnosis the problems with schematics and test equipment.
• Good knowledge of electrical design and wiring for mains voltage.
• Capable to build basic electronic designs to for test rigs or for product evaluation.
• Experience in using Labview or PLCs, relays, switches, timers is preferred.
• PCB assembly using SMT and PTH parts.
• Understanding of mechanical design and capable to build mechanical test rigs.
