儿子上了学,从中国的小学二年纪到这边上4年级。马上他就引起了老师的注意。"He didn't listen to me at all, kept bothering other students." 老师抱怨道。而且,由于这边的宽松的环境,儿子似乎找到了一个舞台。他可以在上课期间走到台前,做出一系列动作,将全班的注意力引到他身上。而老师面对着这样一个从没遇到的学生,似乎不知所措。
家庭医生马上转到pediatrics, 小儿科医生宣布, "Your child is in big trouble, his teachers are very difficult to deal with your son." 确实。他说,他断定是ADHD和autistic disorder。他安慰我,如果我的孩子是autism,那么意味着政府会拨大量的钱为他治疗。他说他能断定的是,我孩子肯定有ADHD(多动症),但没有把握诊断autistic disorder,他将refer我们到autism诊断委员会的主任那里去。
